It’s easy to get stuck in the predefined “comfort zone” that we’re all trained to be in as employees.
That’s fine if you are happy. Really. It is. Happy with your job. Happy with your boss. Happy with your work experience. Happy with what you make.
But, you must leave that comfort zone if you want to create something new vs. making someone else’s dream come true. You must leave that comfort zone if the work you are doing leaves you feeling empty inside, frustrated, or unhappy every day.
You must leave that comfort zone if you don’t feel appreciated, your hard work isn’t recognized, or your boss makes you feel like “less.”
Life is too short for that to be your daily existence.
More on this in a great post by James Altucher.
